How the RIM Group handles personal data collected on this website.
Data controller
RIM Engenharia e Construções, S.A., with registered office at Estrada do Aeroporto 101, 9060-382 Funchal, tax number [to be confirmed by RIM], is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. Privacy contact: geral@grim.pt.
What we collect
This website only collects the data you enter voluntarily in the contact and information request forms: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message. The language and the page from which the request was sent are also recorded so that we can reply in the right context.
No profiling is carried out and no personal data is collected automatically for marketing purposes.
Purpose and legal basis
The data is used exclusively to reply to your request and, where applicable, to provide information about the development or project indicated. The legal basis is the consent given when submitting the form, which may be withdrawn at any time.
Retention
Requests are kept for [period to be defined by RIM, e.g. 24 months] after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period. They are then deleted.
Sharing
Data is not sold or transferred to third parties. It may be processed by service providers hosting the website and database or delivering email, always on behalf of the RIM Group and under confidentiality guarantees, within the European Union or under appropriate contractual clauses. Within the RIM Group, the request is forwarded to the company responsible for the development or project concerned.
Your rights
- Access your data and obtain a copy.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure or restriction of processing.
- Object to processing and withdraw consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored in systems with access restricted to authenticated RIM Group users.
